Make that Change
|
I know some you out there are feeling lost and alone. I know that feeling all to well. You feel as though
your life has no meaning or maybe that God has given up on you. I have some good news for all of you, your life is not over.
So how do we handle all the negatives that life throws at us? How do we get out of that deep dark depression? Both
good questions and both have good answers. My decent into depression lead me to a very dark part of my life. I felt like their
was no way my life would ever change. That was until I God entered the picture.
Okay, I know some people are like
Oh No, not the God thing again. You are going to tell me that you have tried that already, right? You are going to to tell
me things about going to church and praying and nothing ever changed. Your life stayed the same. Well your right it probably
did stay the same, why you may ask? Simple... You did not change!
Bringing God into the picture means you need
to do more than just expect God to turn your life around. He will, but you have to do some work too. It's not just about praying
or going to church. It's about changing your entire life to focus on Him and His Son. For years I went to church and prayed
daily, but nothing was happening. Why, because I just expected God to take care of everything. It does not work like that.
You have to give to get.
Once I understood that I had to make Jesus Christ my personal Savior and began to build
a relationship with God, things began to change overnight. You see on the night my life took its darkest turn, God himself
entered it when I asked for help. That's all He wants. He wants us to turn to Him and ask for help. In the Bible it teaches
us that Jesus wants us to take all (and I mean all) our burdens and place them upon Him.
Sounds kind of crazy
doesn't it? That's what I thought too, but boy was I wrong. Once I asked God into my life He has never left (thank God). He
has been constantly working towards me succeeding in everything I do. He wants you to succeed to. All it takes is building
that relationship with Him. Since the moment I turned my life over too him I have been successful at building my own ministry.
I have been able to publish books, run a Christian web site and even talk to groups of people. He made all that possible.
I have given everything to Him and in return He has done the same. God was even willing to give His only Son, so I could have
eternal life. Could you make that decision? I am betting not.
So what does it take to build that special relationship
with Him? All it takes is asking. That's it. The rest will start to fall into place right before your eyes. Is their something
you have always wanted to do? Is there someplace you have always wanted to go? With God in your life all things become possible.
In the last few months God has gotten me in touch with my spiritual side, my soul if you will. My newest book which will be
out soon is all about it. I am going to start teaching classes soon for Christians who want to get in touch with their spiritual
sides and are looking to change their lives around.
The messages that I will be teaching are messages that I believe
God has sent to all of us. In May of this year I had a one of the most spiritual moments in my life. It was form this that
my new book and these classes came from. I am no one special, I am just somebody relaying messages. You too have this ability.
The things I will be teaching you already know, but have yet to connect with. I would not be in the position to do these things
if it were not for God. He has changed my entire life around.
Know that today is a good day in your life and God
has a lot planned for you. I always ask these two questions of people. First, What is your relationship with God? And the
second question, What have you done for somebody else today? Those two questions can change your entire life if you answer
them correctly. Life is not all about you. It about us, humanity. We are all in this together. We can choose to go on as we
are, or we can choose to change things up a little and make a difference. The choice is up to you. Today you need to make
that choice. Today you need to decide where your life is heading. What choice will you make?
I am hoping that
you make the choice to put your life on the correct path. In fact I know you will. Once you do you will start to see things
change right before your eyes. How do I know, been there done that. I still have things that I am working through, but we
all do. No ones life is perfect and never will be. The only perfect person to walk this planet was God himself in the form
of Jesus Christ. So understand now that things will go wrong. Problems will happen, but it is how you deal with these problems
that will make the difference.
I know in my heart that we all want to live a great life. We all want to live the
life that we have always imagined. Well you can lead a great life all you need to do is start to build that relationship with
God. He is waiting for you right now. All you need to do is start talking to Him. I remember the first time I talked with
God. I kind of felt foolish sitting in my computer room and talking. I kept looking around to see if any one could hear me.
Now I look back and laugh, because I don't care who hears me. I fact I want them to hear me. I want everyone to hear me.
So what choice are you going to make? Do you want to live a life filled with despair and depression? Or do you want
to get out there and make a difference not just in your life, but others as well. I remember when I met author/speaker Neale
Donald Walsch. That meeting changed my life. It didn't change me as a Christian, but it changed my spiritual side. I was able
to get in touch with a deeper part of me. As I continued to learn more and more from other teachers, I found myself having
a better relationship with God. And from that I am now teaching others.
Lets make a difference in the world. Start
that relationship with God today. Get out of all that depression. Start to live the life God always intended for you to live.
I know once you do you'll never go back to the old you, I promise.
